Dennis McGinnis, Founder of JDFK and Red Bank businessman, commented, "We envisioned a vehicle towards raising awareness of Jason's Dreams for Kids, but had no idea how significant a contribution the event would ultimately provide our organization or the impact it would hold locally. We are thrilled to be involved with an event that so many look forward to participating in and importantly fuels our mission of fulfilling dreams for kids diagnosed with life-threatening illnesses."

The Turkey Bowl, a JDFK event, has been instrumental in providing wishes to numerous children that have come through the foundation with life-threatening illnesses.

During the past seven tournaments, competition has been strong yet friendly and it has been a clean and enjoyable day for all the players, their families, and spectators involved. The organizers of the event, headed by Adam Kazalski, are grateful to all the men participating and competing that there has never been any fights among the competition and that injuries have been minimal and limited. Since 2000, over 250 individual games have been played and over 400 players have participated.
